Kundan jewellery is an Indian tradition of setting rose cut stones originating in the Royal Courts of Rajasthan. The stone is backed in either silver or gold foil to enhance the apparent size of the stone and give it an iridescence. It is a jewellery technique most commonly used with rose cut diamonds, but in this design we have used tourmalines.
Our jewellery is set in silver that has been plated in 18 carat gold vermeil. The plating is equivalent to 2.5 microns of gold. We use high quality semi-precious and precious stones in all our designs.
