Blue Topaz
Portrayed in mythology as a gem of peace and healing, Blue Topaz is generally found in 3 colours, the more commonly mined pale sky blue, electric blue and the deeper, moodier tone of London Blue Topaz.
In Vedic astrology it is used to encourage focus and meditation and enables the wearer to 'be' rather than to 'do'. In yogic philosophy, the Blue Topaz relates to the throat chakra (Vishuddha), supporting self-expression and the confidence to speak one's truth. It is known as a stone of love and good fortune.
Opium sources Blue Topaz from Sri Lanka and India and as it is less valuable than Aquamarine, Tracy favours the stone in her gold plated designs.
